WHY WE GIVE

Paul summed up giving this way:

He who sows sparingly shall also reap sparingly; and he who sows bountifully shall also reap bountifully. Let each one do just as he has purposed in his heart; not grudgingly or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver!” (2 Cor 9:6-7)

In the well-known story from the temple treasury, Jesus praised not the one who gave the most, but the the one who gave the most sacrificially.

Truly I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all the contributors to the treasury; for they all put in out of their surplus, but she, out of her poverty, put in all she owned, all she had to live on.” (Mark 12:43-44)

God blesses those who do not cling to money and earthly possessions, but are generous with what God has given them!

TAKING A STEP OF FAITH

Giving is a step of faith, trusting God to take care of us. There are many ways to give; one of the most exciting today is online giving. When you participate in online giving, you decide in advance to faithfully give. God always blesses that kind of faith!

SIMPLIFYING YOUR LIFE

Online giving is simple, easy, and also reduces post office trips, postage costs and weekly/monthly check-writing chores. You can also set up your giving to happen automatically, making it one less thing you have to remember to do.

HELPING THE CHURCH TO SERVE OTHERS

When you participate in online giving, you’re also helping to streamline administrative overhead costs – thus, putting more of your dollars to work in ministry.
