AWANA stands for “Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed” (2 Timothy 2:15). The stated goal of the organization is to “equip local volunteers in churches around the world with Biblical evangelism and discipleship solutions so that today’s children may become tomorrow’s Christian leaders, in every aspect of society and culture.” Activities include Bible lessons, Bible memory, games, singing, snacks, and making friends.
AWANA programs at Crossroads meet Sunday evenings from 5:00-6:45 pm, during the school year. Cubbies are for those 3 yrs to pre-k, Sparks for grades k-2, and TNT for grades 3-6.
